SPF Water Engineering is seeking a highly motivated civil engineer for our Boise office. This individual will be expected to create detailed designs for civil projects, including preparing plans and specifications, site layouts, grading and drainage, utility plans and profiles, and coordinating with CADD/BIM technicians and other disciplines for construction plan production. This person will be required to mentor younger engineers and may function as a technical specialist and/or project manager on projects.
Candidate will have at least 6 to 12 years of engineering experience with a B.S. or M.S. degree in civil engineering or a similar field, and the ability to obtain professional engineer registration in Idaho. Excellent written and oral communication skills and AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency are essential. Licensure in other western states, such as California, Oregon, Washington, or others is a plus. Other areas of expertise that are a plus include: GIS, Building Information Modeling (BIM), practical field experience, and/or a background in survey. Position salary and title will be based on selected candidate’s level of experience.
